The Sudan Liberation Movement Army (SLM\/A), which controls the area, reported that all residents had been killed except one. <\/p>\n<p>In their statement, they described the tragedy as unprecedented and urgently appealed to the United Nations and humanitarian agencies to help recover bodies from the rubble.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe village and its people disappeared.
