Prior to the First Ladies meeting,Mrs. Jeannette Kagame also attended the opening session of the African Union summit. <\/p>\n
The First Ladies came together to review the last 10 years since OAFLA was initiated and discussed the organisation\u2019s achievements, challenges and the way forward. <\/p>\n
The First Ladies re-committed to strengthen HIV prevention efforts. The First Ladies\u2019 meeting will on Monday participate in the OAFLA General Assembly.<\/p>\n
OAFLA was established in 2002 as a continental initiative to advocate and mobilise resources for those affected and infected by HIV\/AIDS in Africa and provide leadership at the regional and national level to fight HIV\/AIDS in the context of poverty and gender inequality.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
