Both French and Rwandan Judges confirmed the arrest.<\/p>\n
“He was arrested at the request of the prosecution,” said the spokesman of the Prosecutor General of Kigali, Alain Bernard Mukuralinda.<\/p>\n
It is reported that Kigali requested France to extradite the accused to Rwanda for further trial.<\/p>\n
“He is accused of a number of offenses: genocide, complicity in genocide, murder, rape, membership and participation in a criminal group”,detailed the Attorney General of Dijon, Jean-Marie Beney.<\/p>\n
“I do not know for how he was in France, or how he got there,” said the magistrate.<\/p>\n
Rwanda had issued in November 2012 a request for arresting him pointing out that the suspect may be hiding in Dijon. <\/p>\n
