{"id":53221,"date":"2025-03-03T15:28:40","date_gmt":"2025-03-03T15:28:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/how-amstel-blended-sports-and-entertainment-for-a-memorable-tour-du-rwanda-2025\/"},"modified":"2025-03-06T15:48:55","modified_gmt":"2025-03-06T15:48:55","slug":"how-amstel-blended-sports-and-entertainment-for-a-memorable-tour-du-rwanda-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/how-amstel-blended-sports-and-entertainment-for-a-memorable-tour-du-rwanda-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"How Amstel blended sports and entertainment for a memorable Tour du Rwanda 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As usual, during this year\u2019s race, Amstel organized accompanying events known as the &#8220;After Party,&#8221; adding excitement to the competition.<\/p>\n<p>The 17th edition of the international cycling race concluded on Sunday, March 2, 2025, with French cyclist Fabien Doubey of Team TotalEnergies emerging as the overall winner.<\/p>\n<p>Many attendees expressed their joy and appreciation for the festivities that accompanied the race.<\/p>\n<p>Emmanuel Niyonkuru from Rubavu District shared his excitement about seeing Yampano, one of the most popular artists of the moment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m really happy. We got to enjoy a performance by Yampano, who is currently delivering amazing hits. We truly appreciate Amstel for bringing him to us for free,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Bruce Hirwa also praised these events, highlighting how they bring energy to the city.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese concerts are fantastic. People spend the whole day on the streets watching the race, so in the evening, it\u2019s great to have a place where we can relax and celebrate in a different way,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Bralirwa\u2019s management stated that such activities bring joy to people and encourage social interaction, which aligns with Amstel\u2019s mission and purpose. They also promised even more exciting activities for the next edition of the race.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to these events, Amstel also awards stage winners throughout the race.  <\/p>\n<figure
