{"id":5278,"date":"2013-01-18T04:15:38","date_gmt":"2013-01-18T04:15:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/rwandans-urged-to-exploit-existing-resources\/"},"modified":"2013-01-18T04:15:13","modified_gmt":"2013-01-18T04:15:13","slug":"rwandans-urged-to-exploit-existing-resources","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/rwandans-urged-to-exploit-existing-resources\/","title":{"rendered":"Rwandans Urged to Exploit Existing Resources"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>{{On the Second day of his visit to Western province, President Paul Kagame has persuaded Rwandans to exploit the resources of Rwanda.}}<\/p>\n<p>On Thursday 17th January 2013, President Kagame visited Cimerwa processing cement plant and Mashyuza Rice Mill-Sodar in Nyakabuye sector, Rusizi district.<\/p>\n<p>Addressing residents drawn from eighteen sectors of Rusizi district the President said that it\u2019s not understandable how a country like Rwanda may lack electricity energy with the existing untapped resources. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt should not only be about managing resources, you must also work to create them\u201d, Kagame said.<\/p>\n<p>He focused on building relationships with neighbours especially DRC and Burundi. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cLet us continue making trade and good relationships with our neighbors, we want peace and development and together we can achieve it well\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to people, Paul Kagame encouraged them to manage their property.<\/p>\n<p>You can\u2019t pride yourself in managing resources that don&#8217;t belong to us, let us work on building our own\u201d, the President said<br \/>\nHe added that, security is a fundamental of all.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI want to promise you that security is guaranteed for every Rwandan anywhere in the country. No one can destroy what we have already built.
