City Mayor Fidele Ndayisaba said that the city will scale up a campaign on behavior change among residents toward their health improvements and explore how patients will receive treatment when diseases occur.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe will increase health centers and equip hospitals. However what is needed is to put more effort in sensitizing citizens on how to prevent diseases\u201d Ndaysaba noted.<\/p>\n
The Ministry of Health has warned City dwellers need special attention in terms of health care due to the fact that urbanization is likely to pose a lot of health challenges.<\/p>\n
Statistics indicate that population of Kigali is expected to double by 2020 to around 2 million inhabitants compared to 1.2 million today.<\/p>\n
