{"id":5031,"date":"2013-01-07T04:12:24","date_gmt":"2013-01-07T04:12:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/hillary-clinton-back-in-office\/"},"modified":"2013-01-07T04:08:18","modified_gmt":"2013-01-07T04:08:18","slug":"hillary-clinton-back-in-office","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/hillary-clinton-back-in-office\/","title":{"rendered":"Hillary Clinton Back in Office"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has officially resumed her official duties Monday, five days after being released from a hospital for treatment of a blood clot, the State Department said.<\/p>\n<p>The secretary was released from New York Presbyterian Hospital last Wednesday, after a stay of several days during which she was given blood thinners to treat the clot in a vein behind her right ear.<\/p>\n<p>She has been resting at home in New York since then.<\/p>\n<p>Clinton has suffered a series of ailments over the last month, including a stomach virus and a concussion.<\/p>\n<p>Her doctors have said they expect her to make a full recovery.<\/p>\n<p>The State Department said Clinton has been keeping up with her work by talking to her staff and receiving memos.<\/p>\n<p>Her first White House meeting this week will take place on Tuesday and include Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta and national security adviser Tom Donilon, the State Department said.<\/p>\n<p>{Wirestory}<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has officially resumed her official duties Monday, five days after being released from a hospital for treatment of a blood clot, the State Department said.
