{{Three Rwandan students arrested in India last week for allegedly misbehaving with a girl in Jalandhar in the northwest Indian state of Punjab were released on bail late Saturday evening.}}<\/p>\n
Rwanda’s High Commissioner to India, Williams Nkurunziza told media that the three students were released yesterday on a total bail of about US$1,200.<\/p>\n
Those students are expected to appear in court on January, 17, 2013, to answer charges against them.<\/p>\n
The students argue that claims against them are not truthful.
\nThe three Rwandan students who were arrested are from a private university in India.<\/p>\n
They were arrested after locals caught them misbehaving with a girl in market area.<\/p>\n
The locals caught the three students and called the police.
\nIronically, this took place one month after a Rwandan woman was allegedly gang raped in the Indian capital.<\/p>\n
The 24-year-old Rwandan woman was allegedly gang raped by five men in Delhi on Dec. 3, reports said.<\/p>\n
