The Policemen were travelling in a pickup truck escorting a bus carrying the Police FC team.<\/p>\n
Among the dead included; Chief Inspector of Police Mugabo Peter. The driver of the Police truck Inspector Bizimana Andr\u00e9.<\/p>\n
Other four policemen have been seriously Injured and are currently recieving treatment at the University hospital in Butare.<\/p>\n
The bodies of the dead policemen are currently taken at Nyanza hospital.<\/p>\n
The accident was caused by a Tanzanian registered truck which swerved off the road hiting the police Pickup truck.<\/p>\n
The Police FC team was heading to Rusizi district.<\/p>\n
