“Statistics show that from January to November 2012, twenty-nine (29) cases of suicide were recorded in the country,” reads a statement from the police.<\/p>\n
The most common causes of these suicides are a result of family disputes, land disputes, social and economic problems.<\/p>\n
However, police believe that family conflicts are the main cause of most cases of suicide registered in Rwanda.<\/p>\n
Police draws attention to the fact that suicide affects families of the deceased in various ways. <\/p>\n
