{"id":48996,"date":"2023-10-02T15:37:57","date_gmt":"2023-10-02T15:37:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/slope-collapse-claims-two-lives-in-nyamasheke\/"},"modified":"2023-10-03T08:00:48","modified_gmt":"2023-10-03T08:00:48","slug":"slope-collapse-claims-two-lives-in-nyamasheke","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/slope-collapse-claims-two-lives-in-nyamasheke\/","title":{"rendered":"Slope collapse claims two lives in Nyamasheke"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This tragic incident occurred in Butare Cell, Gihombo Sector, on  2nd of March 2023, around 11:30 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>The two victims have been identified as Ndahimana Jonathan, aged 57, and Bizimana Phanuel, aged 18.<\/p>\n<p>Athanasie Mukankusi, the Nyamasheke District Vice Mayor in charge of Social Affairs has told IGIHE that the injured victims have been promptly transported to Mugonero Hospital for immediate medical care.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;A group of ten individuals was constructing a stone wall when the slope unexpectedly collapsed.
