Chinese Ambassador to Rwanda, Wang Xuekun; Dr. Fabien\u2002Habimana, representing\u2002the Minister of Education\u2002of Rwanda; Dr. Florien Nsanganwimana,\u2002Acting Principal of University of Rwanda, College of Education\u2002attended the event and delivered remarks. <\/p>\n

Representatives from Chinese communities and Rwandan Universities, high schools\u2002and primary schools\u2002also joined the occasion.<\/p>\n

Speaking at the event, Amb. Wang said that \u201cChinese Bridge\u201d\u2002is an important bridge of communication, civilization\u2002and friendship. <\/p>\n

He wished contestants continue to pursue\u2002their dreams through Chinese learning\u2002and be\u2002goodwill ambassadors for China-Rwanda relations.<\/p>\n

Dr. Habimana and Dr. Nsanganwimana thanked the Chinese Government for its long-term support to the development of Rwanda\u2019s education. <\/p>\n

They congratulated the success of this event and expressed their hope that more Rwandan young people could\u2002learn Chinese, better understand Chinese culture and promote friendly exchanges and cooperation between the two countries.<\/p>\n

The competition consisted of speech and talent show. After a fierce competition, Mbashimiyimana Delice from the University of Rwanda and Liata Furaha Rachel from SOS Technical High School won the competition respectively for college and high school students.<\/p>\n
