{"id":47480,"date":"2023-02-03T15:27:01","date_gmt":"2023-02-03T15:27:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/robert-bafakulera-chairperson-of-rwanda-s-private-sector-federation-resigns\/"},"modified":"2023-02-10T08:29:22","modified_gmt":"2023-02-10T08:29:22","slug":"robert-bafakulera-chairperson-of-rwanda-s-private-sector-federation-resigns","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/robert-bafakulera-chairperson-of-rwanda-s-private-sector-federation-resigns\/","title":{"rendered":"Bafakulera, Chairperson of Rwanda\u2019s PSF resigns"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Speaking to IGIHE, Bafakulera disclosed that he submitted his resignation to PSF\u2019s Board of Directors on Friday 3rd February 2023.  <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have resigned over personal reasons,\u201d he noted.  <\/p>\n<p>Bafakulera said that PSF has made good progress and expressed hope that his deputies will continue to lead the organization until the election of a new chairperson.  <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis federation which currently stands firm is led by my former deputy, Jeanne Fran\u00e7oise Mubiligi whom we have been working together. She knows what to do and will work with the second assistant to help her discharge the duties until the election of a new chairperson,\u201d he disclosed.  <\/p>\n<p>Bafakulera was re-elected to lead PSF for the second term in March 2022.  He had been elected for the first renewable term in 2018. <\/p>\n<p>Bafakulera is among Rwanda\u2019s tycoons where he runs several investments including hotels. <\/p>\n<p>He owns different hospitality establishments including Ubumwe Grand Hotel.
