The man on the run has been serving life sentence handed to him after he was found guilty of murder. <\/p>\n

IGIHE has learnt that Ntawukuriryayo escaped on Monday 23rd January 2023. The Spokesperson of RCS, SSP Pelly Uwera Gakwaya has told IGIHE that the search for this inmate is ongoing. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt is true that he has escaped. Investigation to trace him was launched immediately. We request Rwandans to be collaborative and provide tip off on his whereabouts,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n

\u201cA convicted person has to serve the sentence handed to him\/her because escaping might lead to tougher punishment once arrested. What he has done constitutes a crime punishable by laws,\u201d added SSP Gakwaya. <\/p>\n

It is said that Ntawukuriryayo was handed life sentence in 2015. He was born in 1993 in Intwari Village, Nyaruteja Cell of Nyanza Sector in Gisagara District. <\/p>\n
