{"id":47042,"date":"2022-11-19T09:30:49","date_gmt":"2022-11-19T09:30:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/premier-ngirente-urges-ur-graduates-to-be-agents-of-positive-change\/"},"modified":"2022-11-21T09:15:34","modified_gmt":"2022-11-21T09:15:34","slug":"premier-ngirente-urges-ur-graduates-to-be-agents-of-positive-change","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/premier-ngirente-urges-ur-graduates-to-be-agents-of-positive-change\/","title":{"rendered":"Premier Ngirente urges UR graduates to be agents of positive change"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In his remarks, Prime Minister started by congratulating all the graduates and commended their efforts and resilience throughout their studies. <\/p>\n<p>The Premier thanked the University of Rwanda\u2019s leadership for their great contribution in promotion the University of Rwanda through their strategic orientation to the management of the University of Rwanda. <\/p>\n<p>He expressed his deep appreciation to all the academic staff for guiding and providing appropriate skills and necessary mentorship to University of Rwanda. <\/p>\n<p>Prime Minister highlighted some of the key achievements made by the University of Rwanda  in research, teaching as well as exchange programmes for staff with other universities. <\/p>\n<p>He noted that the Government is aware of the challenges that the University of Rwanda is still facing and is fully engaged to address them in a sustainable manner through a comprehensive assessment that is being conducted. <\/p>\n<p>The Premier also reiterated the commitment of the Government of Rwanda to continue supporting the University of Rwanda to fulfill its mission of improving the quality of education and transforming the University of Rwanda into a research-led University. <\/p>\n<p>He concluded by calling upon graduates to be agents of positive change by upholding the ethical values acquired from the University.
