the Inspector General of Police, IGP Dan Munyuza; the Secretary General of National Intelligence and Security Services (NISS), Maj Gen Joseph Nzabamwita and the Senior Economic Advisor to the President, Francis Gatare.<\/p>\n<p>As the Club of Mozambique reported, Mozambican Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ver\u00f3nica Macamo has said that discussions between the Heads of State focused on the progress of joint efforts between Rwandan and Mozambican troops to fight terrorism in Cabo Delgado.   <\/p>\n<p>She further stated that the two leaders hailed the courage of joint troops in collaboration with SADC forces to quell terrorists. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe two leaders broadly saluted the brave young Mozambicans and Rwandans, who with the support of the forces of the Southern African Development Community Mission (SAMIM), spare no effort to stop the action of terrorists in our homeland,\u201d the head of Mozambican diplomacy said.<\/p>\n<p>Besides, Macamo said that Mozambique and Rwanda are considering establishing a partnership in the aviation sector. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe two state officials focused their attentions on the operation of the airlines of the two countries, which would allow making trips from Mozambique to various parts of the world more swiftly, using Rwandan airlines, taking advantage of the position in which Rwanda is in the world,\u201d Ver\u00f3nica Macamo told the media in Maputo.<\/p>\n<p>Following bilateral discussions, Rwanda\u2019s Presidency has revealed, President Kagame visited Maputo and a market on the seaside. <\/p>\n<p>As he visited the market, Kagame who was warmly welcomed, spoke to citizens about the partnership between Rwanda and Mozambique. <\/p>\n<p>Kagame was last in Mozambique on 25th September 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Rwanda and Mozambique have been enjoying vibrant relations for many years.<\/p>\n<p>Both countries have cooperation agreements in different areas including security, trade and investment among others.<\/p>\n<p>Last year, Rwanda sent joint troops of Rwanda National Police (RNP) and Rwanda Defence Force (RDF) to fight terrorists in the Southern Africa country.<\/p>\n<p>Following the deployment of Rwandan troops, the situation has been gradually returning to normal where displaced citizens returned home and schools resumed.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"spip-document spip-document-44962 aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/en-images.igihe.com\/jpg\/fgllyagwqairg4l-c7539.jpg\" alt=\"President Kagame visiting a seaside market in Mozambique. \" \/><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"spip-document spip-document-44963 aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/en-images.igihe.com\/jpg\/fgllyakwaaarkoe-a29d4.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"spip-document spip-document-44964 aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/en-images.igihe.com\/jpg\/fgllyakxoaaftwn-2ca69.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"spip-document spip-document-44965 aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/en-images.igihe.com\/jpg\/fgllyamxkaahyxa-6c6d0.jpg\" alt=\"Merchants warmly welcomed Kagame as he visited the seaside market. \" \/><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"spip-document spip-document-44954 aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/en-images.igihe.com\/jpg\/fgj1uv1xgamgrso-db066.jpg\" alt=\"President Nyusi welcoming his counterpart of Rwanda in Mozambique. \" \/><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"spip-document spip-document-44957 aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/en-images.igihe.com\/jpg\/fgj1uv9wyaefb11-95583.jpg\" alt=\"President Nyusi received Kagame at his office. \" \/><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"spip-document spip-document-44958 aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/en-images.igihe.com\/jpg\/fgj2wnmxgaayglo-8f21c.jpg\" alt=\"Delegations from Rwanda and Mozambique discussed ongoing areas of cooperation. \" \/><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"spip-document spip-document-44959 aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/en-images.igihe.com\/jpg\/fgj2wnrwyaaml22-596e8.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"spip-document spip-document-44956 aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/en-images.igihe.com\/jpg\/fgj1uv2wyaahpwt-65e88.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"spip-document spip-document-44955 aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/en-images.igihe.com\/jpg\/1-3619-7d4e7.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>{President Paul Kagame visited Mozambique on Friday 28th October 2022 where he was warmly welcomed by Mozambicans.
