{"id":46659,"date":"2022-09-19T09:24:31","date_gmt":"2022-09-19T09:24:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/140-ghanaian-students-receive-chinese-ambassador-scholarships\/"},"modified":"2022-09-19T09:29:01","modified_gmt":"2022-09-19T09:29:01","slug":"140-ghanaian-students-receive-chinese-ambassador-scholarships","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/140-ghanaian-students-receive-chinese-ambassador-scholarships\/","title":{"rendered":"140 Ghanaian students receive Chinese ambassador scholarships"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Addressing the ceremony, Chinese Ambassador to Ghana Lu Kun voiced hope the scholarships will help Ghanaian students at all levels excel in their study of the Chinese language.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;As China became the second largest economy in the world, learning Chinese helps you not only better understand China but also share China&#8217;s development dividends and realize your dreams,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>Lu assured the students that the Chinese embassy is ready to provide assistance to Ghanaians who wish to study in China.<\/p>\n<p>Johnson Nyarko Boampong, the UCC Vice Chancellor, said the significance of the Chinese language has been growing.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Chinese language provides the keys to unlock the door to a world of opportunities.
