{"id":46277,"date":"2022-08-02T09:34:42","date_gmt":"2022-08-02T09:34:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/copedu-plc-nets-rwf2-billion-profit\/"},"modified":"2022-08-02T09:49:12","modified_gmt":"2022-08-02T09:49:12","slug":"copedu-plc-nets-rwf2-billion-profit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/copedu-plc-nets-rwf2-billion-profit\/","title":{"rendered":"Copedu Plc nets Rwf2 billion profit"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The figures were revealed during a shareholder\u2019s Annual General Meeting held on 31st July 2022.  <\/p>\n<p>The management of Copedu Plc told shareholders that the microfinance institution registered Rwf2.131 billion profit in 2021 representing 36% increase compared to Rwf1.571 billion of 2020.  <\/p>\n<p>Among others; clients\u2019 deposits increased by 15% from Rwf22.613 billion in 2020 to Rwf26,035 billion in 2021. <\/p>\n<p>According to the Managing Director of Copedu Plc, Ra\u00efssa Muyango; the microfinance\u2019s net capital grew by 16% from Rwf29.928 billion to Rwf34.617 billion. <\/p>\n<p>The Vice- Chairperson of the Board of Directors at Copedu Plc, Joseph Ntabwoba said that the steady increase in profits reflects smooth implementation of the company\u2019s vision.   <\/p>\n<p>The microfinance has also revamped its Push &#038; Pull services in order to continue satisfying customers.<\/p>\n<p>The general meeting elected Euphrasie Uwase Maneno as the new Chairperson of the Board of Directors replacing Liliane Gashumba. <\/p>\n<p>Established in 1997, Copedu Plc has gradually grown and introduced new payments or withdrawing methods using Debit Card and depositing or withdrawing using \u2018Push and Pull\u2019 System. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"spip-document spip-document-43538 aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/en-images.igihe.com\/jpg\/ubuyobozi_bwa_copedu_plc_bwasabye_abanyamigabane_guharanira_iterambere_ryayo-2e104.jpg\" alt=\"The shareholders&#039;
