{{The Rwanda Bureau of Sanitation, Water and Energy (EWSA) and the World Bank signed an agreement in the framework of support for SMEs in the energy sector (ESME).}}<\/p>\n
This agreement will provide funding for several water projects and grants program of off-grid lighting.<\/p>\n
Under this agreement, EWSA provide partial subsidies for hydropower projects, which will raise additional capital from investors and high-impact of local banks.<\/p>\n
EWSA will support the funding of grants to selected companies to implement marketing activities and increase sales product.<\/p>\n
Rwanda has a relatively low modern energy and fragile electricity consumption per capita is still below its neighbors in East Africa. <\/p>\n
