{"id":45931,"date":"2022-06-03T14:43:16","date_gmt":"2022-06-03T14:43:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/construction-of-kicukiro-flyover-at-90-percent\/"},"modified":"2022-06-03T15:46:37","modified_gmt":"2022-06-03T15:46:37","slug":"construction-of-kicukiro-flyover-at-90-percent","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/construction-of-kicukiro-flyover-at-90-percent\/","title":{"rendered":"Construction of Kicukiro flyover at 90 percent"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>RTDA has said that construction activities of the flyover and side roads will be completed at a cost of Rwf6 billion.  <\/p>\n<p>The flyover which also has a roundabout is being constructed before Kicukiro market in Kicukiro Centre.  <\/p>\n<p>It is part of the Kicukiro Sonatubes-Gahanga-Akagera highway. The upper road of the flyover will have four lanes. <\/p>\n<p>The project was designed to ease traffic between Kigali and the Eastern Province.<\/p>\n<p>Solange Mizero, Single Project Implementation Unit (SPIU) Coordinator at Rwanda Transport Development Agency (RTDA) has told IGIHE that construction works are being fast tracked with optimism to have completed them before CHOGM2022.  <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have optimism that the road will be operational during CHOGM.
