GAERG is a Genocide survivors&#8217; organisation that comprises of university graduates and other students in higher learning institutions.<\/p>\n<p>The center offers career guidance and counseling services to Genocide survivors.<\/p>\n<p>Beneficiaries of the center narrated their ordeal in the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi and talked about their progress along the resilience journey on support of the center. <\/p>\n<p>Apart from counseling; Genocide survivors at the center, majority of whom being Genocide widows in their advanced ages, are involved in different income generating activities like poultry farming.  <\/p>\n<p>During the visit, Ubumwe Grande Hotel supported their project with Rwf1,3000,000 to buy 1000 chicks and feeds.   <\/p>\n<p>The Managing Director of Ubumwe Grande Hotel, Eug\u00e8ne Munyaneza has said that they organized the event to empathize with the survivors and reassured continued support to their project.  <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI would like to thank my colleagues for introducing the idea to visit our parents living here and God for helping us to make it. The funds were raised from employees who were supported by the management. It is just a gesture to show that we stand with you,\u201d he said.    <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will continue to stay with you because we have become your children. Besides, we assure to keep following up the project we started where Ubumwe will be buying your produce,\u201d added Munyaneza.     <\/p>\n<p>The Executive Secretary of GAERG, Fidel Nsengiyaremye commended Ubumwe Grande Hotel for dedicating time to visit Genocide survivors. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe thank you from the bottom of our hearts for dedicating time to visit us. The gesture highly induces happiness to these parents,\u201d he noted.   <\/p>\n<p>Munyankore who spoke on behalf of these beneficiaries revealed that such visits make them stronger and feel not
