The latter is a skills development center for architecture, engineering, construction and manufacturing professionals that offers high-level professional training on computer aided programs used in technical projects\u2019 studies.<\/p>\n

These individuals received training packages in the fields of Architecture Design, structural and earthquakes engineering, Bridge design and analysis, Quantity surveying and construction project management.<\/p>\n

Speaking at the event; the CEO of Nziza Training Academy, Alexandre Nzirorera has said that trainees received on hands-on skills in relevant fields to shine at the labour market. <\/p>\n

\u201cWe organize such training to fill identified gaps at the labour market. For instance, a suspension bridge is under construction in Rwanda yet we don\u2019t have competent engineers in the field. After identifying the issue, we invited experts from MIDAS based in South Korea to offer training to polish Rwandans\u2019 skills in bridge design,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n

MIDAS is a South Korean Software Company renowned globally as the leader of bridge engineering technologies. <\/p>\n

As Nzirorera explained, the fact that the school offers training to university graduates and practicing engineers does not mean universities are incompetent. <\/p>\n

\u201cSome people say that universities do not offer desired quality education but I totally disagree with them. The reality is that technology is evolving fast yet universities are not able to go with that pace. That is why the training is much needed,\u201d he noted. <\/p>\n

Nzirorera said that Nziza Training Academy is certified for software used in complex projects\u2019 studies including CAD, CAE, CAM and BIM Technologies. <\/p>\n

Graduates have underscored that they are imparted with relevant skills helpful in daily operations complementing the knowledge acquired from universities. <\/p>\n

\u201cAs time evolves, we realize that it is necessary to match knowledge from school with latest technology. At Nziza Training Academy, we receive training on relevant skills at the labour market and get time for practical session, \u201csaid Gilbert Irakoze who graduated from Architecture Design. <\/p>\n

The Chairman of the Federation of Africa Engineering Organisations (FAEO), Eng. Papias Kazawadi told graduates that learning is an endless journey and requested them to put into practice acquired skills. <\/p>\n

Pascal Gatabazi, the Chief Technical Advisor at the Ministry of Education emphasized that such trainings are of crucial significance to up-skill trainees and link them to employers. <\/p>\n

He explained that universities acquaint students with basics and commended Nziza Training Academy for introducing latest technologies to enhance their competencies. <\/p>\n
