The money was also recovered.<\/p>\n<p>The Southern region Police spokesperson, Superintendent of Police (SP) Theobald Kanamugire identified the suspects as Francois Ntakirutimana, 47, Jean Damascene Ntawizera, 47, Vedaste Niyibizi, 29, Silas Rwarinda, 47, and Ismael Kubwimana, 47.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;They were arrested attempting to defraud a resident identified as Colette Mukantwari, 51, whom they were selling fake gold for Rwf90,000.
