{"id":45176,"date":"2022-01-25T07:32:59","date_gmt":"2022-01-25T07:32:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/rutsiro-private-sector-to-build-rwf200-million-bus-park\/"},"modified":"2022-01-25T07:34:29","modified_gmt":"2022-01-25T07:34:29","slug":"rutsiro-private-sector-to-build-rwf200-million-bus-park","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/rutsiro-private-sector-to-build-rwf200-million-bus-park\/","title":{"rendered":"Rutsiro: Private sector to build Rwf200 million Bus Park"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Construction of the taxi park started in 2016 and later halted due to undisclosed reasons.  <\/p>\n<p>It will be built in Nduba village, Congo Nil cell of Gihango sector. <\/p>\n<p>Rutsiro district vice mayor for economic affairs, Etienne Havugimana has told IGIHE that construction of the bus park will begin in August 2022.  <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt will be built by members of the private sector after entering agreement with the district which provided funds for expropriation. They will pay the money in installments,\u201d he said.  <\/p>\n<p>The land where the bus park is to be built is valued at Rwf70 million. <\/p>\n<p>The Chairman of the Private Sector Federation in Rutsiro district, Marie Chantal Nyirakamineza has told IGIHE that she is not aware of reasons behind delayed construction activities. She however assured that it will be completed in two years.  <\/p>\n<p>\u201cOnly one person has not yet been expropriated. Once the transaction is completed, we shall begin construction activities,\u201d she said.  <\/p>\n<p>The bus stop will be built along the Kivu Belt road connecting five districts in Western Province including Rubavu, Rutsiro, Karongi, Nyamasheke and Rusizi. It is expected to accommodate more than 30 buses per day.  <\/p>\n<p>Nyirakamineza explained that the modern bus park comprised of 20 shopping units will also create new business opportunities in its surroundings.  <\/p>\n<figure class=\"spip-document spip-document-40744 aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/en-images.igihe.com\/png\/gare_ya_ruts4585-8a92b.png\" alt=\"The artistic impression of the new bus park to be completed.  \" \/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>{Members of the Private Sector in Rutsiro district are set to build a new bus park to be completed at a cost of Rwf200 million.
