Since then, 117,123 people have been tested positive out of 4,093,759 sample tests while 1362 succumbed to the pandemic. <\/p>\n<p>In a bid to mitigate effects of the pandemic, Rwanda has ramped up vaccination efforts where a total of 5, 55,134 have been fully inoculated.  <\/p>\n<p>Citizens are also reminded of the critical importance of continuing to adhere to preventive measures including social distancing, washing hands and properly wearing face masks among others.  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>{The daily report on the status of COVID-19 released by the Ministry of Health has indicated that five people succumbed to the virus on Wednesday 5th January 2022.
