{"id":45071,"date":"2022-01-03T13:39:41","date_gmt":"2022-01-03T13:39:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/former-senator-zephyrin-kalimba-passes-on\/"},"modified":"2022-01-06T08:50:40","modified_gmt":"2022-01-06T08:50:40","slug":"former-senator-zephyrin-kalimba-passes-on","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/former-senator-zephyrin-kalimba-passes-on\/","title":{"rendered":"Former Senator Zephyrin Kalimba passes on"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Kalimba breathed the last at King Faysal Hospital last night.   <\/p>\n<p>Speaking to IGIHE, the Executive Secretary of the Rwandese Community of Potters known by its French acronym as COPORWA, has confirmed his demise. <\/p>\n<p>COPORWA is a local Non-Government Organisation that advocates for the rights of historically marginalized people in Rwanda.  <\/p>\n<p>Kalimba also headed COPORWA before his election as senator in 2012.  <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is true that he passed on last night succumbing to natural cause.
