\n“The Government of Rwanda recognizes the role that energy plays in electronics development\u201d PM said.<\/p>\n
He made the remarks December 3, during the presentation of actions and policy of the government in the production and distribution of energy in the country. <\/p>\n
Habumuremyi also said that in period not exceeding five years all public institutions will have access to electricity. <\/p>\n
These include schools and educational institutions, hospitals, health centers and sector offices. <\/p>\n
To achieve this, the government plans to increase the production of electrical energy by producing more than 1,000 megawatts (MW) by 2017.<\/p>\n
