The statement released last night by the Ministry of Health also shows that 36 people have caught the virus out of 6811 sample tests. <\/p>\n
The majority of new cases were found in Ngororero: 7, Kigali City: 6, Gakenke: 4 Karongi: 3, Kayonza: 3, Musanze: 3 and Nyagatare district: 2 while each of the districts of Gicumbi, Gisagara, Huye, Ngoma, Nyamasheke, Rubavu, Rusizi and Rwamagana recorded one new case. <\/p>\n
The Ministry has revealed that the remaining districts registered zero new cases.
\nThe decrease in new infections is largely attributed to ongoing COVID-19 preventive measures and ramped up mass vaccination efforts. <\/p>\n
As of today, a total of 1,733,550 people have been fully vaccinated while 3,177,390 received the first dose of COVID-19 since Rwanda began countrywide inoculation program on 5th March 2021. <\/p>\n
Coronavirus symptoms include coughing, flu, and difficulty in breathing. The virus is said to be transmitted through the mucous membranes of the respiratory tract.<\/p>\n
