{"id":44599,"date":"2021-10-14T06:21:39","date_gmt":"2021-10-14T06:21:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/rwanda-sets-curfew-hours-to-12a-m-removes-quarantine-for-fully-vaccinated\/"},"modified":"2021-10-15T07:00:20","modified_gmt":"2021-10-15T07:00:20","slug":"rwanda-sets-curfew-hours-to-12a-m-removes-quarantine-for-fully-vaccinated","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/rwanda-sets-curfew-hours-to-12a-m-removes-quarantine-for-fully-vaccinated\/","title":{"rendered":"Rwanda sets curfew hours at 12a.m, removes quarantine for fully vaccinated passengers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Curfew  hours previously started from 11p.m through 4.a.m.  <\/p>\n<p>The decision is part of resolutions of the cabinet meeting held on Wednesday 13th October 2021.  <\/p>\n<p>The cabinet meeting has also resolved that all businesses must close by 11p.m. <\/p>\n<p>As per new measures,  public offices will continue with essential staff at no more than 75% capacity while other employees continue working from home on rotational basis.  <\/p>\n<p>Private businesses will continue at full capacity and must comply with COVID-19 preventive measures.  <\/p>\n<p>Bars shall also continue to resume gradually.  Recreation, entertainment facilities are permitted to resume gradually at 50% maximum capacity while customers must be fully vaccinated and should possess negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours.  <\/p>\n<p>Among others, all services held at places of worship should not exceed 50% maximum occupancy. <\/p>\n<p>Swimming pools, massage parlors and saunas shall reopen gradually. Customers must be fully vaccinated (except  persons under 18 years of age) and should possess negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours.  <\/p>\n<p>These measures will take effect nationwide effective from 14th October through 14th November 2021.  <\/p>\n<p>Citizens are reminded of the critical importance of complying with health measures including physical distancing, properly wearing face masks and hand hygiene.  <\/p>\n<figure class=\"spip-document spip-document-39772 aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/en-images.igihe.com\/jpg\/am_1.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"spip-document spip-document-39773 aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/en-images.igihe.com\/jpg\/am_2.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>{The Government of Rwanda has eased measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 where curfew hours are set to 12:00 midnight through 4a.m and removed quarantine at hotels upon arrival of fully vaccinated travelers.
