The positivity rate currently stands at 0.8%. <\/p>\n<p>A total of 1,640,974 people have been fully vaccinated while 2,099,305 received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine since Rwanda began countrywide inoculation program on 5th March 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Rwanda plans to have 30% of the population vaccinated by December this year and 60% by June 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Coronavirus symptoms include coughing, flu, and difficulty in breathing. The virus is said to be transmitted through the mucous membranes of the respiratory tract.<\/p>\n<p>Rwandans are urged to adhere to COVID-19 health guidelines, washing hands frequently using soaps and safe water, wearing face masks and respecting social distancing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>{The Ministry of Health has reported that four people succumbed to COVID-19 bringing the death toll to 1252.
