{"id":44143,"date":"2021-08-13T11:24:42","date_gmt":"2021-08-13T11:24:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/chinese-medical-team-in-rwanda-donates-medical-supplies-to-kibungo-hospital\/"},"modified":"2021-08-13T11:24:17","modified_gmt":"2021-08-13T11:24:17","slug":"chinese-medical-team-in-rwanda-donates-medical-supplies-to-kibungo-hospital","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/chinese-medical-team-in-rwanda-donates-medical-supplies-to-kibungo-hospital\/","title":{"rendered":"Chinese medical team in Rwanda donates medical supplies to Kibungo Hospital"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Chinese medical partnership with Kibungo hospital started way back in 1982 and Chinese doctors work hand in hand with their Rwandan counterparts to provide health care services to hundreds of patients from Ngoma and other distant districts in Eastern Province. <\/p>\n<p>Speaking at the event,  Dr. Gahima welcomed the donation highlighting that received equipment will help the hospital to provide the needed healthcare services to patients without necessity to transfer them to Kigali.  <\/p>\n<p>Rwanda&#8217;s partnership with China in the medical field is intended to deliver efficient and effective healthcare for all. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cRwanda needs to partner with many other countries as we learn a lot from each other. That is what we want as Rwandans in order to continue improving healthcare among our people,\u201d said Dr. Gahima. <\/p>\n<p>The China medical teams and Rwandan health professionals learn from each other and improve their knowledge so that they can offer high quality services to the patients.  <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe cooperation between China and Rwanda is very important for the benefit of the two countries. For Kibungo Hospital in particular, the partnership helps Rwandans, our district of Ngoma and other parts of Eastern Province in particular.\u201d The Director General of Kibungo Hospital, Dr. Gasana John stressed.   <\/p>\n<p>As China and Rwanda prepare to celebrate 50 years of diplomatic relations, partnership in the medical field is one of the strong areas where the two countries have worked together to improve the well-being of the Rwandan people.
