{"id":44127,"date":"2021-08-11T19:52:32","date_gmt":"2021-08-11T19:52:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/lockdown-lifted-in-fifty-sectors-curfew-hours-reduced\/"},"modified":"2021-08-13T08:16:43","modified_gmt":"2021-08-13T08:16:43","slug":"lockdown-lifted-in-fifty-sectors-curfew-hours-reduced","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/lockdown-lifted-in-fifty-sectors-curfew-hours-reduced\/","title":{"rendered":"Places of worship allowed to resume, curfew hours eased back"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The resolutions are part of new COVID-19 containment measures reviewed by the cabinet meeting held on Wednesday 11th August 2021 at Village Urugwiro chaired by President Paul Kagame.  <\/p>\n<p>New measures will take effect countrywide from 12th August to 1st September 2021.  <\/p>\n<p>The cabinet meeting has also resolved that individual and non-contact outdoor sports activities are permitted while gyms will also resume progressively.  <\/p>\n<p>Among others;  civil, religious and traditional marriage ceremonies shall resume but should not exceed 50 persons. Events held is licensed venues should not exceed 30% of venue capacity while all guests must possess COVID-19 negative test results taken within 24 hours before the event. <\/p>\n<p>Restaurants shall resume with 30% occupancy limit while restaurants that offer outdoor seating service may operate at 50% venue capacity. <\/p>\n<p>Public transport buses are allowed to operate not exceeding 75% of seating capacity.  <\/p>\n<p>The cabinet meeting has also allowed places of worship to resume with no more than 30 percent maximum occupancy.  <\/p>\n<figure class=\"spip-document spip-document-39199 aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/en-images.igihe.com\/jpg\/a_1.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"spip-document spip-document-39200 aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/en-images.igihe.com\/jpg\/a_2.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"spip-document spip-document-39201 aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/en-images.igihe.com\/jpg\/curfw.jpg\" alt=\"Curfew hours have been set to 8p.m through 4a.m. \" \/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>{The Government of Rwanda has allowed places of worship to resume and put curfew hours to 8p.m. through 4a.m and.
