{"id":43371,"date":"2021-04-24T05:57:33","date_gmt":"2021-04-24T05:57:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/rwanda-records-197-new-covid-19-cases\/"},"modified":"2021-04-24T05:57:03","modified_gmt":"2021-04-24T05:57:03","slug":"rwanda-records-197-new-covid-19-cases","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/rwanda-records-197-new-covid-19-cases\/","title":{"rendered":"Rwanda records 197 new COVID-19 cases"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The statement released last night shows that majority of new cases (162) were found in districts of Southern Province including Nyamagabe: 41, Huye: 37, Nyaruguru: 32, Muhanga: 24, and Kamonyi: 12.<\/p>\n<p>Rwanda confirmed the first Coronavirsus case on 14th March 2020. Since then, 24 459 people have been tested positive of whom 22 696 have recovered, 1435 are active cases,  7 are critically ill while 328 have succumbed to the virus.  <\/p>\n<p>Coronavirus symptoms include coughing, flu, and difficulty in breathing.
