{"id":43307,"date":"2021-04-15T08:39:54","date_gmt":"2021-04-15T08:39:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/marizamunda-appointed-rcs-commissioner-general\/"},"modified":"2021-04-17T08:30:15","modified_gmt":"2021-04-17T08:30:15","slug":"marizamunda-appointed-rcs-commissioner-general","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/marizamunda-appointed-rcs-commissioner-general\/","title":{"rendered":"Marizamunda appointed RCS Commissioner General"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Marizamunda was appointed by yesterday\u2019s cabinet meeting chaired by President Paul Kagame at Village Urugwiro which also reviewed existing measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. <\/p>\n<p>The cabinet meeting also made new appointments in different institutions including Rwanda National Police, correctional and rehabilitation bodies among others.  <\/p>\n<p>Marizamunda was transferred to Rwanda National Police (RNP) from Rwanda Defense Force (RDF) in 2014. He was at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel at the time. <\/p>\n<p>Marizamunda was replaced by Jeanne Chantal Ujeneza who has been serving as the RCS Deputy Commissioner General.<\/p>\n<p>The mother of two was born in Rulindo district on 30th December 1967.
