{{Minister of Youth and ICT Jean Philbert Nsengimana has called upon commercial companies to support football academies across Rwanda.}}<\/p>\n
The minister noted Saturday after a monthly community work in Kiramuruzi Sector in Gatsibo District where the Ministry of Youth and ICT invited Telecommunication Companies in Rwanda to support Gatsibo Football Academy (GFA). <\/p>\n
Minister Nsengimana said that competitors in business can work together to help local football academies to get sports equipment and be competitive at international level. <\/p>\n
Diego Camberos, CEO of Tigo Rwanda said that they\u2019re happy to support this football academy in Gatsibo. <\/p>\n
They donated much equipment such as bags for players. Diego
\nstressed Tigo will always support football in Rwanda.<\/p>\n
Gatsibo Football Academy got also support from Airtel Rwanda where they received football gear; Marcellin Paluku, CEO of Airtel Rwanda said that they will help Gatsibo Football Academy to partner with Manchester United\u00a0Football Club because Airtel has also a partnership with this English professional\u00a0football\u00a0club, based in\u00a0Old Trafford.<\/p>\n
Rwanda Football Association (FERWAFA) President\u00a0Celestin Ntagungira said that Rwanda\u00a0prioritized\u00a0football among children; FERWAFA will support football academies across Rwanda.<\/p>\n
Gatsibo Football Academy is training 314 children aged\u00a04-17. Ministry of Sport and Culture, FERWAFA, Airtel Rwanda, Tigo Rwanda,\u00a0ISPA and Star Times have donated to this academy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
