{"id":41714,"date":"2020-07-20T07:25:44","date_gmt":"2020-07-20T07:25:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/kinuma-appointed-transunion-rwanda-ceo\/"},"modified":"2020-07-22T09:38:52","modified_gmt":"2020-07-22T09:38:52","slug":"kinuma-appointed-transunion-rwanda-ceo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/kinuma-appointed-transunion-rwanda-ceo\/","title":{"rendered":"Kinuma appointed TransUnion Rwanda CEO"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Kinuma is also the former CEO of digital payments fintech Mobicash and brings with him strong experience in digital payments, SMEs, the public sector, and technology.<\/p>\n<p>Kinuma will be responsible for growing TransUnion Rwanda\u2019s range of information solutions,  that help businesses make more informed decisions and consumers manage their personal information and access financial products and services.<\/p>\n<p>TransUnion\u2019s Senior Director for Africa, Chad Reimers, said the Rwanda market was \u2018a critical part\u2019 of TransUnion Africa\u2019s portfolio growth strategy, and that he was confident that the business would continue to grow and reach its potential under Kinuma\u2019s leadership.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEmile brings an extensive understanding of the Rwandan marketplace and a strong ability to help leverage TransUnion\u2019s global data, analytics, and technology capabilities to help businesses and consumers transact with confidence,\u201d said Reimers.<\/p>\n<p>Kinuma has in-depth knowledge of the Rwandan financial sector; his experience in telecoms, finance, media and entertainment, and airline industries is garnered both in Rwanda and internationally.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m excited to be part of TransUnion, and I look forward to deepening our relationships with clients, consumers, and wider stakeholders. I want to engage the financial and digital lending communities to deliver great experiences and help create more economic opportunities,\u201d said Emile.<\/p>\n<p>Kinuma was last week, invited in the acclaimed television show Under 40 CEOs, which seeks to research, celebrate and expose the business leaders of the not-so-distant future and tell the stories of these young business leaders in Africa with a focus on the journey, the process, and their proposed destination.<\/p>\n<p>In his interview, he explained that his choice to work in Rwanda was due to the fact that he saw the potential of growth and he wanted to be part of it.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Africa compared to the West is a small pie that is growing very quickly.
