{"id":41171,"date":"2020-04-07T16:01:43","date_gmt":"2020-04-07T16:01:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/coping-muhanga-bar-owners-motorcyclists-top-covid\/"},"modified":"2020-04-07T16:01:04","modified_gmt":"2020-04-07T16:01:04","slug":"coping-muhanga-bar-owners-motorcyclists-top-covid","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/coping-muhanga-bar-owners-motorcyclists-top-covid\/","title":{"rendered":"Coping: Muhanga bar owners, motorcyclists top COVID-19 safety violations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Muhanga District Mayor Kayitare Jacqueline, said the general public have cooperated in observing the guidelines save for some bar owners who open at night and motorists who carry passengers.<\/p>\n<p>The mayor, without giving numbers and identities of individuals that have been fined and arrested, emphasized the importance of observing the guidelines in keeping flat the virus curve. <\/p>\n<p>She explained that first offenders are counseled but repeat violations are met with penalties that include fines and imprisonment.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, there are 105 cases of COVID-19 in Rwanda.
