{{Former Bafana Bafana manager Sipho Nkumane has been appointed by Fifa to run an advanced administration management course for the football body in Namibia, which started in Windhoek yesterday.}}<\/p>\n
The course, which ends on November 17, is a follow-up to the one held in Kempton Park in July.<\/p>\n
It has been organised for Southern African member countries of Fifa.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s a great honour for me to be appointed by Fifa to conduct the course as the southern Africa regional instructor,\u201d said Nkumane.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe course will cover various aspects of administration.<\/p>\n
The objective is to empower our administration so that the member associations in southern Africa will run their affairs in a more professional way.<\/p>\n
\u201cGone are the days when we used to run our activities from the boots of our cars.<\/p>\n
\u201cI enjoy facilitating courses because soccer is in my blood.<\/p>\n
Here at home, I work closely with the South African Football Association to assist in the training of our administrators in all the 53 regional structures of the federation,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Nkumane said about 30 administrators attended the course last year.<\/p>\n
\u201cSafa president Kirsten Nematandani has asked us to reach out to the length and breath of the country so that we have more administrators trained.\u201d<\/p>\n
One of the most talented younger generation of soccer bosses, Nkumane has been running administration courses since leaving Safa ahead of the 2010 World Cup.<\/p>\n
