Rayon Sports\u2019 spokesperson Jean Paul Nkurunziza has announced that Rugwiro will appear in court on Tuesday, December 31, 2019.<\/p>\n

Rugwiro has been under arrest for 13 days, after being caught at Petite Barri\u00e8re, Rubavu, on December 17, 2019, while crossing to Rwanda.<\/p>\n

He is accused of going to the Democratic Republic of Congo with no documentation.
\nRugwiro has been playing for Rayon Sports since July 2019 when he signed a two-year contract, after parting ways with APR FC.<\/p>\n

Rugwiro is from Huye. He started his football career in the Kabutare football nursery to unearth and nurture children\u2019s talents, under the coaching of Katibito Byabuze.<\/p>\n

He left Kabutare in 2009 and joined the APR FC football academy. He moved into the first team of APR FC in 2013, and left APR a decade later, in July 2019, expelled with the other 15 players.<\/p>\n

He started playing for the national team Amavubi in 2014.<\/p>\n
