He succeeds Henri Monceau, promoted to director of economic and digital Francophonie.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, \u00c9ric Adja, director of the Regional Office for West Africa, headquartered in Lome, Togo, also appointed by Jean, was sacked on December 11 \u2018following disciplinary proceedings\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Louise Mushikiwabo took the reins of the International Organization of the Francophonie (OIF) in January 2019.
