{"id":39892,"date":"2019-08-23T11:35:03","date_gmt":"2019-08-23T11:35:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/four-suffocate-to-death-in-ngororero-wolfram-mine\/"},"modified":"2019-08-23T12:07:38","modified_gmt":"2019-08-23T12:07:38","slug":"four-suffocate-to-death-in-ngororero-wolfram-mine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/four-suffocate-to-death-in-ngororero-wolfram-mine\/","title":{"rendered":"Four suffocate to death in Ngororero Wolfram mine"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The incident took place yesterday around 1 pm when six people entered the mining quarry searching for a colleague whom they suspected went missing inside.<\/p>\n<p>Four of them died immediately of asphyxia while two others survived and narrated the ordeal.    <\/p>\n<p>The four bodies have been retrieved from the mining site but it has not yet been established whether the colleague was inside the quarry.  <\/p>\n<p>Police spokesperson in Western Province, CIP Emmanuel Kayigi has cautioned residents against illegal mining.   <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe incident took place in a Wolfram mining site which the district had closed. Six people entered to search for a missing colleague and experienced oxygen deprivation.
