{"id":39862,"date":"2019-08-17T17:47:45","date_gmt":"2019-08-17T17:47:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/new-schedule-for-rwanda-day-2019-revealed\/"},"modified":"2019-08-21T10:47:07","modified_gmt":"2019-08-21T10:47:07","slug":"new-schedule-for-rwanda-day-2019-revealed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/new-schedule-for-rwanda-day-2019-revealed\/","title":{"rendered":"New schedule for Rwanda Day 2019 revealed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The new schedule follows the previous communiqu\u00e9 signed by the State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Olivier Nduhungirehe which indicated that Rwanda Day 2019 was postponed due to unforeseen circumstances that another schedule would be communicated.<\/p>\n<p>Rwanda Day 2019 is a gathering that brings together Rwandans living abroad and their friends. <\/p>\n<p>It was previously set for Saturday 24th August 2019 but has been postponed to 5th October 2019 in Bonn city, Germany as announced by Rwanda\u2019s embassy in Germany.<\/p>\n<p>Rwanda Day has been held since 2010 and serves as a platform for bringing together all Rwandans from the diaspora and their friends to discuss how to further advance the development of the country and get up to speed on the current progress.<\/p>\n<p>The latest Rwanda Day took place on 10th August 2017 in Flanders Expo, a multipurpose hall in Ghent town, Belgium.<\/p>\n<p>Rwanda Day presents opportunities for attracting foreign investments and networking.<br \/>\nParticipants are given the floor to address their questions directly to the Head of State, share ideas and express their wishes as well.<\/p>\n<p>At the occasion, Rwandans get insights into Rwanda\u2019s progress and share ideas on ways forward.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2011, Rwanda Day has been taking place in Chicago, Boston, and Atlanta in the United States of America, Paris in France, Toronto in Canada, London in the United Kingdom, Amsterdam in the Netherlands, San Francisco in USA (Rwanda Cultural Day), and Ghent in Belgium.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-lang=\"en\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Save the Date for Rwanda Day in Bonn, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Germany?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Germany<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/RwandaDay?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#RwandaDay<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RwandaMFA?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@RwandaMFA<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Cesar_Igor_?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@Cesar_Igor_<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/KsRAG3715V\">pic.twitter.com\/KsRAG3715V<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash;
