{"id":39719,"date":"2019-07-23T16:32:52","date_gmt":"2019-07-23T16:32:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/premier-ngirente-imf-executive-director-discuss\/"},"modified":"2019-07-26T14:40:14","modified_gmt":"2019-07-26T14:40:14","slug":"premier-ngirente-imf-executive-director-discuss","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/premier-ngirente-imf-executive-director-discuss\/","title":{"rendered":"Premier Ngirente, IMF Executive Director discuss Rwanda\u2019s economic growth"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>IMF is Rwanda\u2019s development partner supporting broad economic projects. <\/p>\n<p>The fund supports Rwanda in monetary policy, an uplifting economy without side effects to market prices. <\/p>\n<p>The Minister of Finance and Economic Planning (MINECOFIN), Dr. Uzziel Ndagijimana has said that Premier Ngirente and Raghani discussed on new policy promoting Rwanda\u2019s economy approved by IMF in June 2019. <\/p>\n<p>He explained that the fund assessed the three years concluded program that uplifted Rwanda\u2019s economy before approving a new 2022 agenda.  <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was apparent that Rwanda implemented the program excellently. They are pleased with our high economic growth and effective monetary policies where the monetary value should not go beyond 5%. They are also satisfied with the growth of domestic revenues through taxes or other self-financing measures,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n<p>Mohamed Lemine Raghani said that it was of great value to meet Premier Ngirente to discuss on national development. <\/p>\n<p>Raghani said that IMF trusts Rwanda which pushed to approve a new cooperation agenda meant to take economic growth further. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIMF appreciated the performance of Rwanda over the past years and has proven how it trusts Rwanda\u2019s leaders. We also discussed ways to foster the protection of Rwanda\u2019s interests.
