{"id":39670,"date":"2019-07-16T08:16:39","date_gmt":"2019-07-16T08:16:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/musical-museum-to-be-built-in-rwanda\/"},"modified":"2019-07-20T09:25:02","modified_gmt":"2019-07-20T09:25:02","slug":"musical-museum-to-be-built-in-rwanda","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/musical-museum-to-be-built-in-rwanda\/","title":{"rendered":"Musical museum to be built in Rwanda"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Rwanda has eight museums including the Kandt House Museum, Campaign Against Genocide Museum, Presidential Palace Museum, King&#8217;s Palace, Ethnographic Museum, Museum of Environment, National Art Gallery Museum and National Liberation Museum Park. <\/p>\n<p>U&#038;I Ark, an  organization that raises people&#8217;s talents and supports  them in pursuing their visions has initiated the proposal to establish Rwandan music museum to preserve history of singers and their works, display current and ancient music instruments , musicians dressing styles, dance styles among others related to music. <\/p>\n<p>The President and Legal Representative of U&#038;I Ark, Patrick Habarugira has told IGIHE that the initiative is meant to preserve history of Rwanda\u2019s music industry and promoting cultural tourism.  <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe conceived the idea after realizing that some works of artistes are forgotten in not more than three years.
