{"id":39535,"date":"2019-06-19T12:53:58","date_gmt":"2019-06-19T12:53:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/kcb-partners-with-uok-to-nourish-students\/"},"modified":"2019-06-19T12:41:05","modified_gmt":"2019-06-19T12:41:05","slug":"kcb-partners-with-uok-to-nourish-students","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/kcb-partners-with-uok-to-nourish-students\/","title":{"rendered":"KCB partners with UoK to nourish students\u2019 professional skills"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The agreements were signed yesterday at UoK headquarters after holding a panel discussion engaging students on the importance of leveraging development on digital financial transactions.  <\/p>\n<p>The partnership aligns with KCB vision to acquaint the university youth with labor market competencies and promoting the society\u2019s welfare in general. <\/p>\n<p>KCB Treasury Manager, Nicole Kazura said the bank is glad to enter the partnership with UoK to prepare for students\u2019 future. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe believe you (students) will take advantage of the opportunity and work hard. KCB has places for students in economics, technology among other courses.  It is the beginning of the partnership but we want to see students getting more internship opportunities and jobs. This is our ambition. We want to contribute to national economic development,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n<p>The Vice Chancellor of UoK, Prof. Abraham Waithima commended KCB for the program creating room for students to immerse their skills.   <\/p>\n<p>KCB began operations in Rwanda in 2008.
