{"id":39517,"date":"2019-06-15T16:16:19","date_gmt":"2019-06-15T16:16:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/255-prison-warders-graduate-at-rcs-training\/"},"modified":"2019-06-15T16:00:33","modified_gmt":"2019-06-15T16:00:33","slug":"255-prison-warders-graduate-at-rcs-training","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/255-prison-warders-graduate-at-rcs-training\/","title":{"rendered":"255 prison warders graduate at RCS training school"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The new warders who passed out yesterday have completed nine months&#8217; training at RCS training school in Rwamagana district on prisoners\u2019 rights, handling guns and resolving disputes. <\/p>\n<p>It is the 3rd intake since the school was established. <\/p>\n<p>The Minister of Justice, Johnston Busingye who graced the event said the ceremony reflects Rwanda\u2019s efforts to build professional prison warders. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe core objective is to equip prison warders with skills to correct inmates to transform them to comply with Government\u2019s regulations,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n<p> \u201cWe commend your commitment and courage that characterized you during the training. You have to apply acquired basic skills on duty, working together with fellows and strive to maintain a good reputation of RCS,\u201d added Minister Busingye. <\/p>\n<p>He urged them on professionalism and respecting laws. <\/p>\n<p>The Commissioner General of RCS, CGP George Rwigamba said the new recruits join existing 1600 prison warders.
