{"id":3931,"date":"2012-11-05T02:12:23","date_gmt":"2012-11-05T02:12:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/rwanda-s-economy-expanded-9-4\/"},"modified":"2012-11-05T07:55:14","modified_gmt":"2012-11-05T07:55:14","slug":"rwanda-s-economy-expanded-9-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/rwanda-s-economy-expanded-9-4\/","title":{"rendered":"Rwanda\u2019s Economy Expands by 9.4%"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>{{Rwanda&#8217;s economy expanded by 9.4% this fiscal year ending in June from 7.4% previously, owed to robust growth across all sectors, the National Institute of Statistics said on Thursday.}}<\/p>\n<p>Rwanda recorded robust economic growth rates in recent years, on the back of increased investments and consumption.<\/p>\n<p>The farming sector grew by 6% during the period and this was due to increased food production, which rose by 7%, the country\u2019s statistics office said.<\/p>\n<p>Industry expanded by 12% on the back of a jump in mineral exports, manufacturing and construction.
