{"id":39223,"date":"2019-04-25T14:00:00","date_gmt":"2019-04-25T14:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/access-bank-supports-genocide-widows-poultry\/"},"modified":"2019-04-26T12:59:24","modified_gmt":"2019-04-26T12:59:24","slug":"access-bank-supports-genocide-widows-poultry","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/access-bank-supports-genocide-widows-poultry\/","title":{"rendered":"Access Bank supports genocide widows\u2019 poultry project in Bugesera"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The support was used to buy 300 chickens, rehabilitate houses, buy food and catering for worker and veterinarians looking after the widows\u2019 chickens.  <\/p>\n<p>Women Team Leader at Access Bank, Nadine Rutabayiro said that the bank intervened backing the project of these mothers who started with little savings and explained that Access Bank has other programs empowering women for progress through advisory services and training.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAccess Bank activities are not only limited to providing loans to women but also supports them in other areas.  We will keep a closer collaboration with beneficiaries offering training and advisory services and identifying challenges faced in the projects to be supported,\u201d she revealed. <\/p>\n<p>The President of Humura Pe cooperative, Theresa Mugorewera lauded the support from Access Bank expected to boost welfare.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe want to keep growing and expand so that we can support others.
