{"id":39109,"date":"2019-04-06T07:00:00","date_gmt":"2019-04-06T07:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/survivors-exhibit-books-on-the-1994-genocide\/"},"modified":"2019-04-06T11:33:09","modified_gmt":"2019-04-06T11:33:09","slug":"survivors-exhibit-books-on-the-1994-genocide","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/survivors-exhibit-books-on-the-1994-genocide\/","title":{"rendered":"Survivors exhibit books on the 1994 Genocide against Tutsi in France"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The event held in France recently was part of activities in line with preparations of the 25th Commemoration of the 1994 Genocide against Tutsi.<\/p>\n<p>Participants held talks focusing on increasing deep awareness on the history of the 1994 Genocide against Tutsi, giving room to witnesses who also exhibited books and gave testimonies. <\/p>\n<p>The 12 authors include Mujawayo Esther, Kayimahe V\u00e9nuste, Umubyeyi Beata Mairesse, Lyamukuru F\u00e9licit\u00e9, Muzima Philibert, Frida Umuhoza, Murangira C\u00e9sar, Rurangwa R\u00e9v\u00e9rien, Mukantabana Ad\u00e9la\u00efde, Kabarari Valens, Habonimana Charles, and Uwanyirigira Marie-Ange.<\/p>\n<p>Each of them was given the floor to provide give testimonies and share about their experiences and inspirations.
