{"id":38884,"date":"2019-02-18T08:15:00","date_gmt":"2019-02-18T08:15:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/rwandans-in-senegal-celebrate-heroes-day\/"},"modified":"2019-02-19T08:22:37","modified_gmt":"2019-02-19T08:22:37","slug":"rwandans-in-senegal-celebrate-heroes-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/rwandans-in-senegal-celebrate-heroes-day\/","title":{"rendered":"Rwandans in Senegal celebrate Heroes Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Rwanda marks Heroes\u2019 Day annually and this year the theme hinged on \u201csustaining heroism in a vision we have chosen\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Rwanda\u2019s Ambassador to Senegal, Dr. Harebamungu Mathias gave a message reminding the real meaning of heroism and why it is important to sustain its values. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe ponder those who showed commitment to upholding the dignity and love for Rwanda and Rwandans,\u201d ambassador Dr. Harebamungu adding that it is necessary to teach Rwandan youth the values of heroism.<\/p>\n<p>He said \u201cYouth need to be guided into maintaining Rwanda\u2019s strong values for the country to achieve its vision of prosperity which is entailed in vision 2050.
